About Dr. Levine
Since graduating with highest academic honors as an undergraduate at the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Levine received his medical education at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, and ophthalmology training at the University of Pennsylvania Eye Institute. He has been in private practice for 30 years and has been recognized as an expert and innovator in cataract surgery. He was among the first doctors in the New York area to perform refractive cataract surgery and the multifocal lens implant procedure, one of the first in the nation to perform ‘MIGS” (Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgery), and is one of the New York area’s most experienced LASIK specialists.
Dr. Levine established the Cliffside Laser Eye and Cataract Center to provide state-of-the-art medical and surgical therapy for correcting vision, in a friendly, inviting, patient-centric practice. He supervises a staff that performs more than 8,000 patient visits, and 3,000 eye procedures annually.
As a featured cataract and LASIK specialist, Dr. Levine has appeared on the MDTV Medical News TV Network, local affiliates of CBS, NBC, and was named one of “America’s Top Doctors” by Consumer Health Magazine.
Dr. Levine has performed charitable surgical missions twice to Sinaloa Province, Mexico and to Port-Au-Prince, Haiti.
